Rebecca Scollen from St Mary’s College in Seymour was awarded a Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership Teaching Impact Fellowship. As part of her fellowship, she developed a project which put voice, agency and evidence at the heart of educational design. This involved the use of teacher agency and student voice to co-develop learning progressions that informed planning, lesson delivery, assessment, feedback, and supported self-regulated learning. 

Leonie Tamala teaches at Mildura Specialist School, a remote P–12 setting supporting approximately 200 students with intellectual disabilities. After being awarded a Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership, Teaching Impact Fellowship in 2024, Leonie initiated a project on embedding First Nations knowledge across the curriculum meaningfully and respectfully. With 25% of the school student population identifying as having Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage, the project was rooted in the recognition of the cultural significance and educational imperative of representing Indigenous knowledge, histories, and cultures in an inclusive and accessible way.

Andy Ding, from Gleneagles Secondary College, was awarded a Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership Teaching Impact Fellowship and worked on transforming STEM learning for students of all abilities through his teaching impact project.

Kim Walker, an experienced educator and leader, was awarded a Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership Teaching Impact Fellowship. Kim implemented systems thinking to enhance the mathematical wellbeing of students in Years 9-11 at Balcombe Grammar School, cultivating mathematical wellbeing through pedagogical change.

Aaron Silver, from Wodonga Primary School, was awarded a Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership Teaching Impact Fellowship. As part of his fellowship, he led a project building connection and collaboration in performing arts, establishing a regional community of practice that strengthened collaboration and reduced isolation.
