By the end of this program, you will:

Over 4 workshops, you will focus on the essential components of explicit teaching. You will unpack the what, why, and how of translating these into your daily practice.

- Modelling and demonstrating: show students exactly how to succeed.
- Checking for understanding: identify and address learning gaps in real-time.
- Faded scaffolding: guide students toward independent mastery by gradually removing supports.
Each session will include practical examples and actionable insights directly connected to the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model 2.0.

Facilitator
Michael Rosenbrock is an experienced and passionate educational leader, education consultant and a teacher of physics, science, mathematics and multimedia.
He has worked as a Specialist Teacher for the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA), as a Content Specialist at Evidence for Learning (E4L), and has sat on VCE Study Design Review Panels, as well as being part of the Reference Panel for the Victorian Curriculum F-10 2.0 for Science.
An accomplished facilitator and advisor, Michael works with schools, government, not-for-profits and corporate partners.
Structure of program
Over 6 months, you will engage in and contribute to:
- 4 x one-hour online workshops.

Attendance requirements
To successfully complete this program, you are expected to attend and participate in all scheduled workshops.
