Overview
The Teacher Learning and Practice Series will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to implement the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model 2.0 (VTLM 2.0).
Welcoming classroom teachers at any career stage, this series provides focused professional learning to deepen skills and enhance teacher understanding of the evidenced-based teaching and learning strategies within the VTLM 2.0.
Participants will gain access targeted resources and the tools required to provide effective teaching practices.

This series is suitable for all Victorian school staff, including educational leaders who wish to learn more about implementing the VTLM 2.0.

Facilitators
This series is delivered by experienced facilitators from the Academy, specialising in evidence-based teaching and learning strategies. They bring extensive knowledge of the VTLM 2.0 framework and hands-on experience in diverse classroom settings.
Structure
Metropolitan intakes:
This series comprises 8 online workshops held over 4 terms (1.5 hours each).
Note: Metropolitan intakes are strictly for Melbourne-based program participants; or will be on a case-by-case basis.
Attendance requirements
Participants must attend at least 75% of the workshops (6 out of 8) to receive full recognition for completing the series.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this series, participants will:
- Have gained a comprehensive overview of the elements of teaching and learning within the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model 2.0.
- Be equipped with practical, hands-on teaching strategies and actions to support the implementation of VTLM 2.0 within a diverse classroom.
- Have developed a culture of continuous improvement through reflective teaching practices.
- Be able to integrate ongoing assessment and feedback mechanisms to track progress and adapt strategies accordingly.
