About the workshop

Schools recognise the importance of staff wellbeing, but few have a clear and coordinated approach embedded in everyday practice to ensure staff ownership and engagement. Cultivating an environment where staff feel well, work well, collaborate well and lead well is a key role for school leaders.

In Workplace Wellbeing, participants will develop a shared understanding of wellbeing and begin to create an evidence-informed staff wellbeing framework tailored to their school. The program will provide practical strategies to use, and participants will walk away with a draft wellbeing implementation plan for 2027 tailored to their school context.

What you'll learn

  • Build a shared understanding of wellbeing. Develop a clear understanding of wellbeing and the strategies for supporting wellbeing.
  • Apply wellbeing frameworks to your school. Shape your definition of staff wellbeing using your unique school context.
  • Create a 2027 wellbeing implementation plan. Draft an implementation plan with practical strategies for the upcoming year.

Profile image of Amy Green

Amy is a keynote speaker, author and strategist who challenges the ideas we’ve all been handed about how we’re supposed to live and work. Through her own lived experience working in high-pressure environments, as an educator, leader, and someone who’s faced the reality of burnout and made it out the other side, Amy gets it. She knows firsthand what it’s like to run on empty, to keep going while quietly falling apart, and to feel the gap between what we say matters and how we actually live.

Her own experience has shaped the heart of The Wellness Strategy: a commitment to helping others live, lead and work in ways that are more real, sustainable and human. Amy brings big-picture thinking and the practical tools to back it up. She’s strategic, knows how to get things done, and helps people move from overwhelm into action.
