Train the trainer programs

Our ‘train the trainer’ model helps support a coherent, system-wide approach to building leadership capability and teacher capacity, and empowering teachers to improve student outcomes.

Our programs build the knowledge, skills and dispositions required of school leaders to deliver a number of local leader programs. School leaders will have the opportunity to not only develop their leadership skills but help shape the future of Victorian education.

Literacy Master Trainers

Literacy master trainers possess a thorough understanding of effective literacy practices and demonstrate commitment and leadership in driving literacy improvement in schools.

Literacy master trainers will deliver the Literacy Local Leaders program to build capacity, improve literacy teaching and learning, and positively influence student literacy outcomes.

Numeracy Master Trainer

Numeracy master trainers possess a deep understanding of effective numeracy practices and demonstrate commitment and leadership in driving numeracy improvement in schools.

Numeracy master trainers will deliver the Numeracy Local Leaders program to build capacity, enhance numeracy teaching and learning, and ultimately improve student numeracy outcomes.

Inspire: Facilitator Training

Inspire facilitators will use their system leadership experience to support and empower a network of emerging leaders from schools in their area by delivering Inspire: Local Leaders.

Facilitators play a pivotal role in shaping the mindsets and behaviours of future school leaders.

Inspire: Local Leaders provides high potential leaders with the foundational capabilities required for school leadership.
