Enhance your leadership capability with on-demand professional coaching. 

Leadership Coaching offers professional coaching that will challenge and support you to be a highly effective leader and empower you to reach greater levels of performance.

Coaching provides you with an opportunity for short-term focused support to move forward on a strategic priority, specific topic or challenge, and will assist you to problem solve aspects of your role through a proven framework.

Coaches use questioning techniques to assist you to discover and clarify solutions and encourage you to determine your next steps.

If you are interested in a more directive approach to leadership development, we encourage you to apply for the Principal Mentoring program. Mentors use their own experiences to articulate how you can deal with situations and provide advice and guidance on how to proceed.

Audience

Designed for substantive and acting assistant principals, principals and executive principals in Victorian government schools.

Those in acting roles will need a minimum of 3 months remaining in their appointment to participate and complete all coaching sessions.

Facilitators

Delivered in partnership with Growth Coaching International. 

All coaches are highly experienced, accredited executive coaches, possess significant educational leadership experience, and participate in regular reflective practice and professional update sessions.

You will be matched with a coach within 2 weeks of registering.

The program allows you to manage when and how you access the support, either online or via telephone.

Principals and assistant principals will have access to up to 8 hours of coaching over 8 months.

Executive class principals will have access to up to 12 hours of coaching over 8 months.

You will:

  • enhance your leadership capability by reflecting on your current leadership practice
  • be challenged to think of new ways to enhance your leadership knowledge and skills
  • identify goals and areas for further development
  • gain greater focus to develop your leadership capabilities.
