Cooperative Meetings will equip you with the knowledge to create the conditions for powerful, collaborative meetings that bring out the best in your teachers.  

You will learn Kagan tried and tested cooperative meeting structures for collaborative reflection, goal setting and decision making so that your staff work together for school improvement. 

Foster engagement and enhance wellbeing among all staff members, releasing energy and joy in your meetings and beyond. 


Designed for Victorian government school teacher leaders including learning specialists, literacy or numeracy leaders or leaders who facilitate staff, faculty or team meetings.

Principal class members, improvement team members and network chairs may also benefit from attending.


Designed and facilitated by Robyn Cragg, Director of Kagan Australia Teacher Professional Learning, one of the largest educational training companies in the world.

Robyn’s career in education includes being an inspector of schools, director of schools, and 20 years as a principal in disadvantaged schools. 

Her strong knowledge background, experience, enthusiasm and passion are evident in her training sessions, which she has delivered to thousands of teachers and school leaders and coaching in the classroom.


The workshop will be delivered in person.

Over 1 day, you will learn how to use specific collaborative structures to enhance your ability to deliver impactful and meaningful meetings.

Each school will receive a copy of Cooperative Meetings by Spencer Kagan. 

You will learn how to leverage a toolkit of proven meeting structures to:

  • engage staff to make collaborative decisions
  • maximise teacher voice and buy-in
  • create a shared vision with your staff and work together to make it a reality
  • build relational trust and enhance wellbeing among your staff
  • model active learning for your staff.
